Rules of the Game
1. Cricketing Rules: All standard cricket rules apply with the exception of LBW (Leg Before Wicket), which will not be considered in this tournament.
2. Boundaries: Fours and sixes can only be scored in the area running from long-on to long-off. This is marked by a white strip to guide players and umpires.
3. Roof Hits: A ball that hits the roof and crosses the boundary will still be counted as a six, keeping the game fast-paced and exciting.
4. Boundary Catches: If a fielder catches the ball while in contact with the boundary line or marker, the hit will be declared a six.
5. Ball Leaving the Field: In the rare event that a ball leaves the field of play, it will automatically be declared as one run.
6. Umpire’s Decision: The umpire holds the final say in any disputes regarding boundaries, ensuring fair play and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
